My name is Shiran Wijeratne (Dual Swiss/Sri Lankan National) and today I am an independent consultant,
Having had over 30 years in Information Technology, Telecom Industry, (in the marketing), strategy and revenue operations, in these industries, I decided to begin a new chapter in my life in the areas of providing numerous services based on my vast Global and varied experience
Some of my previous employers and were:
- European Product Manager for Notebooks Digital Equipment Corp (today part of HP Enterprises)
- European Product Manager for Optical Products at Iomega International (Part of Lenovo)
- Director of an Independent Marketing and Consulting firm called e-nova (now defunct)
- Senior consultant to the Government of Sri Lanka (funded by the World Bank on the effects of Privatizations of SEO (State owned enterprises)
- European Go-to-Market Strategy manager at HP Europe -Director of Strategy for Europe (excl France, Uk, Spain) for Orange Telecom in Paris France
- Vice President of Account Strategy and the VP off Global Revenue Operations on Previously NASDAQ listed IT out-sourcing firm Virtusa
- Special advisor to the board of a Sri Lankan conglomerate on restructuring and operations
